simple tasks

stop just right here.
startuxcode does have a learning curve.
keep this in mind before giving up.

startuxcodes' backoffice doesn't offer you any eye candy and stupid icons.
instead, it focus on what it matters and gives wings to your imagination using powerfull tools and features that will greatly reward you in the end.

  1.  surveys

    1. setting a survey
it is very simple to set a survey in startuxcode.
      go to "publishers/opinion pool/edit":

you should see somthing like this:

this indicates you that there is currently a survey going on, which is the one that cames by default with startuxcode.
let's create a new one. click in "new survey" and fill in the two form's boxes:

the survey's name won't appear to your users.
      the question, yes, of course.

click "save" and then you'll see that another survey has been created:

click in "edit" survey's number two link:

Now you can add options (answers) to the survey (question):

add a new option named "sucks" with color "#e81e17".
now, go to your site's main "page/survey/see results" and check:

notice that the colors' attribute is optional. if you don't specify them, the bars will be black.
also, you can add pictures to each option. try it, it is fairly simple.

    2. discussions in surveys
now, you most probably want your survey to be discussble.
to accomplish this, you must create an article with the subject surveys, more or less like this:

      now, this article is discussble.
everytime you make a new survey, create a new article related to it and it automagically appears on the new survey's page.
